My laptop...

...died this last September. Of course these things always seem to happen after I quit a job and am making less money too! Blah!

I was dreading the search for a suitable replacement because most of the laptops I had seen had Windows 8. I found a couple laptops at one of the local "rent-to-own" places, but not only did I not feel comfortable going that route, I didn't like the features/brands/specs of the laptops. The same thing with the all-in-ones--even though I don't think I could have gone with an all-in-one because I am too spoiled with the ability to move around :)

Since I kind of need a computer for work I couldn't take too long finding one, so I bought this  Toshiba. Yes, it has Windows 8; yes, I was dreading it, but in less than two weeks everything was fine, no more adjustment, and I love the touchscreen. Windows 8 was not horrible like I had been led to believe at all! I really can't find anything that I don't like, even the new MS Office 365 is good. Plus, this is the first laptop that still has all the letters on the keys after three months of typing ;)
